Testimonials

I have known Kate Boe for nearly 4 years. I have been extremely impressed with her skills in Equine Therapy; her ability to define areas of stress; to engage with the animal in a calm and relaxed manner and her wide range of knowledge allowing for problematic issues to be resolved. I would not hesitate to recommend Kate.

My name is Lynn Kelly and I run a busy Horse Transport business and own an 11 year old warmblood mare called Sheepcote Radiant.
We are training at home at medium level and have taken our first steps in piaffe and passage just recently. I feel lucky to own such a beautiful mare and try to do the best for her.

Her most favourite thing is food and her second favourite thing is Kate Boe! We both look forward to a session with Kate, Radi adores being massaged and every muscle becomes soft and pliable under Kate's hands and you can see her relax and soften and usually interacts by grooming Kate's back in return !!

Kate always picks up any tightness or tension and this always coincides with the work we have been doing that week, and we talk it through and then Kate will give me some exercises to do in addition to the treatment.

My dressage trainer Mel who comes down from Swindon always comments how supple and loose she is in our lateral work and the half pass is always more flowing and free after her treatment.

Because we no longer have time to compete but both love to train up the levels, It is just as important for her to have regular treatments from Kate, it really helps when I've not had time to ride for a week - after a warm up she is always ready to perform.

Thank you Kate for looking after Radi and I'm sure the fact that she has never been off work due to injury is down to your good work.

Kate Boe has been treating my horses and those of my clients since she qualified. As well as making a significant difference to the physical health of every horse she works with, Kate has a wonderful attitude to horses and clients alike. She has a real empathy for the horse and their physical and mental issues and is particularly good around nervous or traumatised horses that may not have had sympathetic handling before. She takes great care to explain everything that she does and to make sure that clients know how they can help their horse in the future through stretching and exercise.

Kabeer.  12  yr old Thorough bred Ex racehorse.

When Kabeer retired from racing aged 11 he'd been in training for all of his life; he'd had over 50 starts, and had been more successful than most.

He came to his new home in May 2009 unable to trot a circle on either rein.

He could almost double himself in half to the left but could barely bend his neck round to the right, not even for a carrot. He was stiff and found his re-schooling exercises difficult.

He had an impressive set of racing muscles, but was weak behind the saddle, and in his neck.

Time to call in Kate…. Within minutes she had found the cause of his stiffness and discomfort.

All of the muscles down his near side were tight and full of residual lactic acid crystals. Quite simply, his problems were due to the left side blocking his ability to move to the right.

After an hour of deep tissue massage and a bit of manipulation the relief was clear to see.

Kate still sees Kabeer regularly; her visits are an integral part of his rehabilitation. As his musculature changes and develops, it's vital for his well being that he stays supple.

Kabeer really enjoys his  Mc Timoney sessions; you can see that, just by looking at him while Kate is working.

The benefit of this continual treatment is evident for all to see. His re schooling is coming on, wonderfully; he can now trot beautiful circles on both reins. He moves with so much more freedom, he's a different horse.

Without Kate's help and expertise Kabeer would still be a very left handed horse.

Thank you Kate.

D.Beer, Damerham
